The essence of Child Protective Services (CPS) is child safety intervention. So, that’s our main business. For more than two decades we have been writing, consulting, training and providing technical assistance to child welfare agencies to improve child safety intervention. No matter what else agencies do we believe that creating and maintaining an effective safety intervention system is fundamental to implementing effective CPS. Therefore, child safety intervention is the center of our attention. That means, while we are capable in addressing any aspect of child welfare services and CPS, we remained focused on the need, first, for capable, successful safety intervention.
